These are 14 luxuriously soft mulberry silk and 2 tussah silk rovings/combed tops in various vibrant colors for you to choose from. Most suitable for handspinning fine yarns, adding to wet/nuno felting projects for extra sheen, fine doll hair (please see fiber length below), and blending/carding with other fibres. Please note that the colors in the photos may be slightly different from the original.

One 15g (0.5oz) strand measures about 2.5cm (1 inch) in width and 30-40cm (12-16 inch) in length, though some strands can be wider/thicker and therefore shorter than stated.


Silk fiber does not felt on its own, it always needs a feltable base, e.g. sheepswool, if used for felting projects.
